As we enter the month of May, let’s reflect on the numerous times God has faithfully and mightily worked in our lives, fulfilling His Word and purpose. God has been with us in the good and challenging times. I want to remind you that God loves you and lives big in you. He will back you up in all circumstances of life. It’s easy to be fearful about the present or the future. But we are not to be moved by the economy or other pressures of our day. God has already delivered us. We must be bold to move in the Faith of God.
Colossians 1:13 declares, “Who hath delivered us from the powers of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear son.” The Living Bible declares, “For he has rescued us out of the darkness, and the gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the kingdom of his dear son.” The Barclay Translation declares, “It was He who rescued us from the grip of the power of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of his dear son.” Jesus is Lord and Savior. He delivered us from Satan’s power. You have been transplanted into the kingdom of God in Christ Jesus. You have complete dominion and authority in Jesus name! Satan’s grip on your life is broken!
If you’re facing difficulty right now, be courageous and stand strong in your place of authority. You are seated with Him in heavenly places, in Christ Jesus. Difficulties are simply a part of the Christian life. Psalm 34:19 declares, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” It is important to face difficulties head on! William Ellery Channing once said, “Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong in conflict.” Hudson Taylor once said, “There are three stages in the work of God: Impossible; Difficult; Done.” He went on to say, “All difficulties are only platforms for the manifestation of His grace, power and love.”
On every road of conflict, God requires us to seek his face for wisdom and protection. Psalm 34:4 declares, “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” The Living Bible declares, “For I cried to him and he answered me and freed me from all my fears.” The Amplified Bible declares, “I sought (inquired of ) the Lord and required Him (of necessity and on the authority of His Word), and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” In all conflict, Satan will attempt to use circumstances to push you out of faith and into the arena of fear. The answer is always found in the authority of God’s Word. The Holy Spirit will bring revelation through the Word and prayer to anchor your heart and mind for enduring victory!
Psalm 91:14-15 declares, “Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore I will deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.” The Knox Translation of the last part of verse 15 declares, “…In affliction I am at his side, to bring him safety and honor. ” The P.K. Harrison translation declares, “…I will be with him in hardship, I will deliver him and honor him.” What an amazing promise!
We appreciate you so very much and continue to believe God that you and your family will have only God’s best as you pursue Him with all your heart. We believe in you and are thankful to God for your friendship and support. The best is yet to come. God loves you!
